 Air Quality Education Resources

The "Air Quality in Tasmania: an Education Resource" web site has been created as an education resource that aims to support teachers' and students' understanding about air quality issues specific to Tasmania.

Investigations, experiments, activities and research opportunities are linked to the Tasmanian Curriculum Framework for secondary students. Teachers are encouraged to incorporate air quality issues in their teaching with the support of background information, local case studies and career opportunities.

Teachers may access a sequential curriculum unit or dip into the practical activity modules. Students are also encouraged to take action in reducing air pollution in their communities.

Feedback from teachers is welcomed.

Comments should be sent to Bob Hyde.
