For smaller proposals that have relatively minor environmental impacts and are unlikely to generate significant public interest (ie class 2A assessments) the Board will issue Guidelines for the Preparation of an Environmental Effects Report (EER) to the project proponent. This document contains generic EER guidelines, however it should be noted that the Board may insert additional site-specific requirements into the guidelines before issuing them in relation to a particular proposal.
