Bushfire Smoke and Air Quality

07 January 2013

Smoke levels have triggered air quality notification in several parts of Tasmania – particularly in the south east of the state.

A number of air quality monitoring stations are showing moderately high to extremely high average particulate levels.

People with pre-existing respiratory conditions are being advised to take precautions while the smoke haze from bushfires persists.
