The EPA facilitates compliance with the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 by overseeing a range of activities, including compliance monitoring, education, community engagement and enforcement actions.

The EPA has a number of statutory responsibilities as outlined in the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994.
