 Approvals Process

Under Tasmania's Resource Management and Planning System the Board of the Environment Protection Authority has statutory responsibility for environmental impact assessment of proposed Level 2 activities and other proposed activities where they have been 'called-in' for assessment by the Director, Environment Protection Authority.

  1. Guidance Documents

    Provides information about the EPA assessment process and guidance documents to assist project proponents, members of the public and other government bodies, including local government, who may interact with the EPA assessment process.

  2. Assessments in Progress

    Provides information about assessments that are currently being handled by the Environment Protection Authority.

  3. Completed Assessments

    Provides detailed information about EPA assessments that have been completed, including the rationale for the EPA’s decision.
