The Proposal
Asphalt Suppliers Pty Ltd is proposing to
increase its annual asphalt production from 30,000 up to 50,000 tonnes per year
at its existing level 2 Asphalt Batch Plant located in Ulverstone. The
additional production will be achieved through intensified activity rather than
any additional plant or equipment, except additional deliveries. They are
proposing to commence operating at 0500 hours, one hour earlier than currently
approved, to help support the intensification.
Environmental Effects Report GuidelinesEER Guidelines have been prepared by the Board to assist
the proponent to prepare a case for assessment. Based on the information
contained in the Notice of
Intent/Development Application, the guidelines identify the key issues
which are expected to be relevant to the assessment of the proposal.
