The Proposal
Copper Mines of Tasmania are proposing the construction of a new processing plant at Mt Lyell Mine, Queenstown. The processing plant will be relocated closer to key infrastructure and use the same process flow as the existing plant. The new plant will be modernised to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
