The Proposal
The proposal seeks to increase the permitted annual acceptance of Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) from 820 tonnes to 2,500 tonnes per annum. The increase reflects current and anticipated regional demand for the disposal of ACM, including asbestos-contaminated soils and materials containing low concentrations of bonded asbestos. There are no changes proposed to the site footprint.
