The Proposal
Cradle Coast Envirowaste Pty Ltd is proposing to intensify operations at the Heybridge Inert Waste Depot, located off Minna Rd across the Blythe River from Heybridge township.
The proposal is to receive up to 8 000 tonnes of vacuum truck waste per year (liquid waste made up of water and potentially contaminated excavated soils), 3 750 cubic meters of low-level contaminated soil and 8 000 tonnes of hydrocarbon contaminated soil per year and construct associated infrastructure for processing and treatment of the wastes at the existing Heybridge Waste Depot. Treatment of the waste is proposed to include bioremediation for reuse as fill material and/or to produce conditioning compost.
