The Proposal
Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is
proposing to increase production at the existing level 2 Flagstaff Gully
Quarry, located at 243 & 395 Flagstaff Gully Road, Lindisfarne. The
proposal involves a production increase from 262,500 m3 (420,000
tonnes) to 375,000 m3 (600,000 tonnes) of dolerite per year, and
includes the crushing and screening of material. The proposal also includes an
increase in the maximum receiving limit of waste concrete to be reprocessed
(crushed and screened) onsite from 3,600 tonnes to 10,000 tonnes per year.
