The Proposal

Proposal to construct a Filtered Tailings Stack (FTS) adjacent to the existing Bobadil TSF within Mining Lease 28M/1993, and associated filter plant, pipeline and road infrastructure to process tailings into filtered tailings for disposal within the FTS. The FTS will allow for approximately 12 years of storage at the current tailings production rate of 850,000 tonnes per annum, with the final storage capacity of up to 10.45 million tonnes of filtered tailings.​​

Draft EIS Guidelines and Public Submissions

EIS Guidelines, prepared by the Board, assist the proponent in preparing the case for assessment. The guidelines identify the key issues which, based on the information in the Notice of Intent, are expected to be key issues for the assessment of the proposal.

Public comment on the draft guidelines is invited from Saturday 9 May 2026 until Monday 25 May 2026.
