The Proposal
Petuna Aquaculture Pty Ltd (the Proponent) proposes to vary the existing Environmental Licence No. 9923/4 to increase production limits at the existing Cressy Hatchery from 600 tonnes of finfish produced per annum to 800 tonnes of finfish produced per annum. The Proponent is not proposing to increase the standing biomass limit.
The proposal also seeks to increase the mass load discharge of nitrogen and phosphorus and the effluent quality limits for nitrate and total nitrogen from those in EL No. 9923/4.
