The Proposal
The proposal is to upgrade the existing wastewater treatment facilities at the Simplot Ulverstone factory with a Biological Nutrient Removal System, UV disinfection system and Biosolids dewatering system to enable to direct discharge of wastewater through TasWaters outfall to the Bass Strait. The treatment system will process on average 5.5ML/day for discharge.
