​​​​The Proposal

Southern Waste Solutions is proposing to develop an Advanced Organics Facility (AOF) is proposed, adjacent to the existing Copping Landfill, to process organic waste streams. The AOF will have the capacity to process up to 70,000 tonnes per annum of organics and will produce one solid product (e.g. compost) and one liquid product (e.g. liquid fertiliser). The NOI states that it is likely that the AOF will include in vessel composting, anaerobic digestion and open windrow composting.​
