The Proposal

Southern Waste Solutions is proposing to change the use of the Lutana Waste Transfer Station to allow for resource recovery works on up to 90,000 tonnes of waste per year on the existing site. The recovery works would operate in parallel with the existing waste transfer station. Waste will be separated and processed into product streams for reuse where possible.​​

Environmental Effects Report Guidelines 

EER Guidelines have been prepared by the Board to assist the proponent to prepare a case for assessment. Based on the information contained in the Notice of Intent, the guidelines identify the key issues which are expected to be relevant to the assessment of the proposal.
