The Proposal
Springfield Meat Company Pty Ltd is seeking to increase the production capacity of its abattoir at 349 Ten Mile Track, Scottsdale to 4,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of meat products. The existing Permit Conditions – Environmental No. 10214 has a production limit of 2,000 tpa of meat products. According to the proponent, the production increase will be incremental over several years and no major facility upgrades are required.
