The Proposal
Tyre Recycle Tasmania Pty Ltd are applying to continue
the storage of approx. 9,000 tonnes of waste tyres at 437 Woolmers Lane Longford,
for future recycling.
Development Application
This proposal was referred directly by Northern Midlands Council to the Board of the EPA on 27 February 2023 as a development application (DA 22-0100) and therefore a Notice of Intent (NOI) was not required.
Environmental Impact Statement Guidelines
EIS Guidelines have been prepared by the Board to assist the proponent to prepare a case for assessment. Based on the information contained in the Notice of Intent, the guidelines identify the key issues which are expected to be relevant to the assessment of the proposal.
