The proposal is to increase processing and extraction limits from 32 000 to 200 000 cubic metres per annum. The active quarry zone would expand to approximately 10.5 hectares, with an additional expansion of the existing stockpiling and loading area to 3.1 hectares. Auxiliary infrastructure will also be required and includes stormwater infrastructure, office and toilet, workshop, diesel fuel tank, weighbridge and diesel-powered generator.
The proponent has lodged a Permit Application with a supporting Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to Meander Valley Council.
