When a person ceases to be a landowner of a site with an underground fuel tank which has been used since 31 March 2010, they must notify the Director within 30 days after they cease to be a landowner (Regulation 8(5) of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Underground Petroleum Storage Systems) Regulations 2020 (UPSS Regulations)).
When a person becomes a landowner of a site with an underground fuel tank which has been used since 31 March 2010, they must notify the Director within 30 days
after they became a landowner (Regulation 45 of the UPSS Regulations).

The landowner must be able to provide details of the System Operator and Infrastructure Owner to the Director within 10 days of receiving a request for these details.
