NOTE: The Derby BLANkET Station is currently offline:
The Derby BLANkET Station was established at the Derby Council Works Depot in 2009. In 2022 the Dorset Council undertook a major upgrade of the Council Depot. Unfortunately, the BLANkET station could not be accommodated in the new development and the station was decommissioned on 19 August 2022. The EPA is working with stakeholders to identify an alternative site within the Derby Township where the air monitoring station can be re-established.

This page contains real-time data from the BLANkET air station at Derby (North-Eastern Tasmania) for today and yesterday. The Derby station is located on the south-eastern edge of the town. In winter 2009 it was found that domestic woodsmoke from the town was generally carried away from the station due to the local microclimate.
