Data released under the national pollutant inventory
Approximately 150 facilities in Tasmania report annually to the National Pollutant Inventory (NPI). Information is checked by the Tasmanian NPI Officer, submitted to the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and then published on the NPI website. Number of infringement notices issued
126 infringement notices were issued, including 111 Litter Infringement Notices and 15 Environmental Infringement Notices.
