This project is partly funded by the Australian Government’s Green Precincts Fund. The Launceston City Council has been granted ,000 for the “Greening Inveresk Precinct – Towards Water and Energy Sustainability” project from this fund. Matching funding is provided by Launceston City Council and other project collaborators.
The Aurora Stadium, the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, and other facilities in the Inveresk precinct will be retrofitted with the latest energy and water saving technologies.
This project will showcase how smart and innovative design and sustainable business practices can cut water and energy use.
