Environment Protection Authority launches new look website

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is pleased to announce the launch of its new look website. The redesign of the website features improvements in search functionality and navigation, making it easier for users to learn and locate information about the EPA.

The EPA is Tasmania's principal environmental regulator. Its purpose is to regulate developments and activities that may impact on environmental quality and to promote best practice, sustainable environmental management.

The goals of the EPA are clean air, clean water, clean land, acceptable noise levels and sustainable use of resources.

“The new look website aims to provide clearer pathways for users to obtain information about the work of the EPA that they need", said Wes Ford, EPA Director

The primary goal during the redesign process was to create a website that was user friendly and enabled the EPA to promote the important work that it does in support of its vision for a clean, healthy and sustainable Tasmania.
