The Board of the Environment Protection Authority (the Board) is undertaking an assessment of the proposal by St Patricks Plains Wind Farm Pty Ltd to construct and operate a wind farm at St Patricks Plains in the Central Highlands of Tasmania.
Assessment of the project is carried out under the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994.
An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in support of the proposal was submitted by the proponent and placed on public exhibition on 12 August 2023, with public submissions invited until 25 September 2023.
The Board subsequently requested that St Patricks Plains Wind Farm Pty Ltd prepare additional information to address public and government comments. The additional information can be viewed on the proposal page at St Patricks Plains Wind Farm Pty Ltd, St Patricks Plains Wind Farm, Central Highlands Tasmania.
