MF281 Yellow Bluff

As part of Environmental Licence conditions for lease MF281 Yellow Bluff, broadscale environmental monitoring must be undertaken.

The program commenced in August 2019 and the objective of this program is to document broadscale spatial and temporal trends for key environmental parameters, allowing assessment of the potential environmental effects of finfish aquaculture at this site.

A number of sites and parameters are monitored throughout the year to assess spatial and temporal patterns of water, sediment, seagrass and reef quality.

An Annual Broadscale Monitoring Report must be prepared and submitted to EPA Tasmania by 31 August each year.
