Working Together

The EPA works with business, industry, local government, land managers and the community to protect and enhance the quality of the Tasmanian environment in balance with economic and social values, and the needs of future generations.

You can play your part by notifying us about environmental issues, reporting litter and dumping and by participating in public consultations processes.

  • Make a Report
To make a complaint or notify the EPA about pollution, call the Incident Response Hotline on 1800 005 171, or email: incidentresponse@epa.tas.gov.au. Many environmental issues and complaints are dealt with by Local Councils or other government agencies.
