In addition to operational monitoring undertaken by the finfish farming industry, EPA conducts independent monitoring of water quality and other parameters in some marine based farming regions.
The EPA currently conducts water quality monitoring in:
- D'Entrecasteaux Channel
- Storm Bay
- Port Arthur
- Macquarie Harbour
