Smoke from Household Wood Heaters

​​The EPA implements the Domestic Smoke Management Program (DSMP). The long-term goal of the Program is to improve the health of the community by reducing wood smoke in areas that have persistent periods of poor air quality.

Programs developed by the Tasmanian EPA to manage and measure smoke from home heating sources include:
